Marine Support Engineer Nigeria

Haztek International are working on behalf of a Global marine service provider to the Oil & Gas industry to find 2 Marine Support Engineers to be based in Nigeria

The main purpose of this role is to manage the day to day marine activities of the site and be the first level contact for Marine Contracts, including marine operations services, tug boats, IMR vessels, crew boats and supply boats.

The main responsibilities and tasks will include

1. Conducting market surveys on prospects of obtaining additional marine support including personnel, equipment, services and 3rd parties
2. preparing tenders and purchase orders for marine equipment & services
3. Finalising contract awards/procurements and arranging the delivery of the equipment, supplies or services
4. Managing regular supplies of diesel oil and methenol to the FPSO
5. Organising vetting of vessels before proceeding to the field
6. Providing assistance in subsea inspection of the hull, risers, buoy and anchoring lines
7. Up keep of HSE equipment
8. Conducting Engineering and feasibility studies and surveys for class maintenance of the relevany systems and equipment
9. Various other duties


In order to be considered for the role, You will be a Class One Unrestricted Licenced Master Mariner. You need to have experience of working in West Africa (preferably Nigeria) It is likely that you will have experience working in a shore based role.
